System Documentation
System Documentation is the pieces that allow a great designed system to
be implemented into a great performing system. The documentation
allows the installation technicians to not only prepare for the installation
with documents showing all the product that is needed for a particular phase
of a job, but also conveys the roadmap to the system that was sold to the
client.
A complete system documentation package normally consists of:
- Plan drawings for each sub-system -
Elevation drawings for any special consideration
- Elevation drawings for any equipment racks
- Schematic drawings for each sub-system or equipment rack
- Pin-out details for any special requirements
- Control System programming summary -
Equipment Purchase Order for each phase -
Equipment Pick List for each phase -
Wiring checklist - Rough-In Location Cards
- Wire Labels
